Mark Ryan is a self taught photographer based in Lancashire, UK. His family, work and travels have taken him around the world and he has spent five years working on the continent of Antarctica with the British Antarctic Survey.

His work has been published by the World Wildlife Fund and the British outdoor clothing manufacturer Mountain Equipment.
